You had me at COVID Safe, Churros and a show.
Seaworld hosted @themommybloggertribe this weekend for the LIMITED TIME Drive Thru Experience: Sesame Street Parade of Lights. It was such a great way to end our weekend. San Diego had some crazy weather and winds this past week and we were glad that it cleared up to experience it without the crazy wind, hail and rain. Kids were excited for the hot cocoa and treats, this mama couldn’t wait for that churro that I’ve been craving miss since the pandemic started. Truly, you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
The experience was excellent with clear instructions on how to signal if you wanted to purchase food, drink or merchandise before going in. This really made the line go quicker since staff did not have to approach the car and could wave cars forward if they didn’t have their hazards on. They also did a quick car safety check (outside inspection) before allowing cars to enter.
Right when you enter you have you’re greeted with characters and lights. They kept this consistent and the vibe alive in the car with a link to the parade soundtrack. Characters were at every corner and all the different lights kept us interested!
These two had a great time and it was so nice to drive thru Seaworld. However, it did make us miss our trips there and all our favorite shows. We can’t wait to go back once things settle down, hopefully soon!
Seaworld will be putting on the parade every Thursday through Sunday night during the month of February (weather permitting). When you get your tickets, you will select a time, first slots begin at 5:45p every night. It is $49.99 per carload. Here is the link for more info and tickets:

TIPS
- If you plan to be getting merchandise or other souvenirs, the Snack Pack Add ons are a deal ($40 and $65) ! We got the Deluxe and the value of all that it includes is way more than what you pay. If you’re a Pass Member you also get discounts on food, drinks and merch.
- Pass Members (50% off) and Fun Card (25% off) get discounts!
- Make sure you connect you phone to your car’s Bluetooth or your phone is charged to play the music in the car. Music is playing outside but have it turned up in our car made the experience even better.
