Breakfast with Boss Babes: My very first SD Mommy Blogger Tribe event at Breakfast Republic in Pacific Beach.
I really didn’t think I’d commit to showing up on literally a blind mommy date, like ever. But I am so glad I did.
It was definitely something that is so far out of my comfort zone and I surprised myself as I pulled into the parking lot.
I ARRIVED NERVOUS, BUT LEFT INSPIRED
Before we go into all of that, let’s talk about Breakfast Republic for a second. This is probably one of my favorite SD Breakfast places. I love the ambiance and the service never disappoints. I’ve been to several of their locations and have consistently had awesome service. They have more seating outdoors because well 2020 and still managed to make the experience a positive one.
Here is a list of my favorite things to get there:
- Shrimp and Grits: Hands down my absolute fav! Before, this was my mommy indulgence when I’d have brunch with my girls. My youngest was allergic to shellfish and Shrimp is a favorite of mine so this was usually my Go-To. Now, I’m happy to say I can share this one with my son now.
- Pancake Flight: I’m a sucker for pancakes. My faves are: Cinnamon Roll, basic but bomb Buttermilk and Strawberry Cheesecake
- Jurassic Pork: OH. EM. GEE. This bacon is fire. It lives up to its name.
- Portuguese Linguisa Sausage Scramble: So yummy! & make sure you get it with the brussel sprouts, you won’t be disappointed.
Their selection of juices and coffees never disappoint. Usually they have a seasonal latte or drink that really does transport you into the season you are in. Right now for the Fall season they have the Apple Pie Chai Latte and Cranberry Vanilla Mimosa.
Breakfast with these boss babes
I committed to this event because I was honored that I was invited into the San Diego Mommy Blogger Tribe. Being a blogger that’s just starting I really felt that I needed to commit to these things to network and learn from other bloggers. The second I saw Monica and Naza, they were so welcoming and I instantly felt more comfortable. I was able to meet both Jessica (@fit_family_fire) and Adaline (@sdmommystyles) and started chatting about IG, our blogs and lives. Monica and Naza were so helpful answering our questions and sharing with us how The Mommy Blogger Tribe started. It amazing to know that so many bloggers are connected through this tribe across the US and are all willing to build each other up and share tips on how to be successful. I look forward to all that I will learn from these women and the women in the other tribes.
